CED Security grew out of CED Services Group's work protecting commercial and industrial sites across Melbourne, first as the eyes and access control behind our electrical and fire protection crews, now as a dedicated security division in its own right.
We work with business clients only — commercial, industrial and apartment/body-corporate sites, never individual homeowners — so every system is designed around how the site actually operates: who needs access, when it's most exposed, and what a false alarm actually costs you. That means straight answers on what you need, and what you don't.
Safety and accountability run through every job. We sit down with clients and staff before work starts to agree the scope and create a site safety plan, and we leave every install as tidy as we found it.

We stand behind our installation for the operational life of the system. If something we installed stops working, we'll work to a solution to reduce any potential downtime.
1–5 year equipment warranty
In line with each manufacturer's cover. Most CCTV, access control and intercom equipment we install carries 3 years; some premium lines carry up to 5.
Excludes hard drives (typically 1 year), and damage from power surges, misuse, or modification by others. These warranties are in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
